The members of the supervisory board are charged with the task of governing the ECTOL Foundation and her subordinate organisations.
The present composition of the Supervisory Board is:

Klaus Meissner has worked for more than 30 years in the mobile crane industry. He led the Demag research and development team in Zweibruecken, Germany, and worked as Director Product Safety Cranes responsible for all Terex Cranes products. Following the sale of the Zweibruecken cranes business to Tadano, he started his own business. He is also a former president of the FEM product group for mobile cranes – part of the European Materials Handling Federation.

Lars Schoedt has worked for heavy duty transport vehicle manufacturer TII-Scheuerle for over 14 years. Based in Germany and Denmark, he is responsible for the sales of TII-Scheuerle’s transport equipment for heavy and special transport in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe where he helps provide handling and transport solutions for companies in the wind industry, plus defence and heavy transport worldwide. He is also responsible for the global sales of TII Defence Logistics Systems.

Arnold Niekamp is Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Dutch trade union HZC which represents professionals in the construction, infrastructure, rail, green, engineering and heavy lifting sectors. A lawyer by background, he oversees the legal and personnel work of the organisation and supports HZC’s members on an individual and collective basis. His areas of expertise include mediation, labour agreements, employment conditions and pensions.
