ECOL has applied to register its training and examination system under the EQF (European Qualification Framework). The EQF systemrelates different countries’ national qualifications systems and frameworks together around a common European reference.

The EQF qualification of the ECOL system is handled by the Dutch national EQF agency (NLQF).
ECOL has already passed the quality threshold for EQF and is now awaiting the final EQF classification.
